“A dreamlike physicality. Not an idea, neither a memory. The poetic attempt of sudden reverie, one that disappears before ending. Unable to build up the whole story, the sequence freezes on its frames.”

FICTION is the first EP from Valeria Miracapillo solo project, the embryo of a story yet to be told. Human rituals’ echoes, animal moanings and synthetic glissandi draw upon a strange realism. Produced while traveling back and forth between Rome and Copenhagen, reading articles of the so-called fiction theory, the music seems to be driven by a macabre premonition, seeking depth of a fictional space between earth and sky.

”I work with electronic music as if I am writing a magic novel. Sometimes it’s the illusion of bliss, sometimes a proper nightmare, always a paradox.”
